
THE SACP GATHERED ITS EMPLOYEES FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY TO A WORKSHOP
The employees of the State Agency for Child Protection gathered for an out-of-office workshop and training, which took place in the period 16-18 September 2020. The Chairperson of the SACP Dr. Eleonora Lilova opened the event by synthesizing and summarizing the priorities and challenges of the institution, the activities and commitments of the Agency in support of children, parents and people caring for them. "We need to be more active and accessible to everyone who needs us. Together we can create even better conditions to support children and their families. Good care and communication with people, dedicated work and initiatives on our part are important conditions with which we build trust in us.
People learn all their life and we are no exception to this rule. Therefore, raising the qualification of each one in the SACP team is personally necessary, but also something that raises the level of the whole agency. The more we increase our expertise, the more we become more useful and people will trust us more ", said Dr. Lilova during the start of the event.
The topics during the three-day meeting with the employees and experts from the six offices of the Agency in: Burgas, Varna, Vratsa, Plovdiv, Ruse and Sofia, were related to the standards in the design of letter responses, analyzes and documents in the state administration, aspects of communication, models of behavior in presenting to different audiences and the implementation of the Regulation on the minimum requirements for network and information security.
The directorates’ work, as part of the program of the training meeting, passed in discussion of organizational issues, planning of future measures and activities in the operational plan of SACP for 2020 and 2021. Directors of directorates: Kamelia Nikolova General Directorate "Control over the Rights of the Child”, Milena Dyankova “Policies and Programs for the Child, Strategic Development and Coordination”, and Kalin Nikolov “Administrative-Legal and Financial-Economic Services”, analyzed the achievements and operational tasks in the work in certain areas, as well as the circumstances of the legislative changes.
On September 18, 2020, the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Ms. Zornitsa Rusinova, joined the meeting. She outlined the priorities of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy regarding the policies for children and the possibilities of the Operational Program "Human Resources Development" in the new programming period.
"The topic of children is multi-layered and complex. By showing your direct work regarding children, citizens will increase their trust in the Agency, "said Ms. Rusinova at the beginning of her presentation. She also pointed out the upcoming pilot areas for which the institutions continue to coordinate their efforts: children with disabilities and children in poverty, as well as the topic of child guarantee. Ms. Rusinova outlined concrete steps to improve the work between the Social Assistance Agency and the State Agency for Child Protection.
