THE SACP SUPPORTS THE EUROPEAN WEEK OF SPORT #BEACTIVE FOR THE SIXTH CONSEQUTIVE YEAR
For the sixth consecutive year, the State Agency for Child Protection supports the European Week of Sport #BeActive in Bulgaria, which is organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The initiative started with sports demonstrations and outdoor activities under the motto "Be active every day, everyone plays sports everywhere!". In the recent days, more than sixty sports events were held in Sofia and other cities in the country. The aim was to support the personal development of young people and to meet their sports needs by building a sense of team spirit, tolerance and solidarity.
"Every child should take care of their body and train regularly, just as they take care of their emotions along with their relatives and friends," said the Chairwoman of the SACP, Dr. Eleonora Lilova.
The European Week of Sport #BeActive is part of the European Commission's initiative to promote sport and physical activity for EU citizens.
In the period from 24 to 25 September between 10:00 and 19:00, the European Week of Sport continued with a Sports Fair in the capital's Asics Arena. It included representatives of over 20 sports - federations and sports clubs, which presented their activities with information stands and demonstrations.
